Best Books for Future Entrepreneurs and Leaders

Reading is the habit of successful people. We all have heard the quote, "Readers are leaders" though putting this in practice can define the difference between success and failure. Here are a few of my favorite ones for entrepreneurs and leaders.


1. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven R. Covey


This book describes in detail how a habit can make or break a person's life and how to maintain them. It's been observed that there are more or less 7 habits which are in common in every successful person, and this book describes them pretty well. The book become a groundbreaker with its release in 1990, and it continues to be a business bestseller with more than 10 million copies sold, this is a must-read for any leader.

2. The Four Dimensions of Extraordinary Leadership by Jenni Catron


Carton shows you in this book that why it's important to lead yourself and develop a strong belief is important for anyone in order to become a leader.This book describes the factors that it takes to lead in the midst of chaos. Theses four dimensions will smash your boundaries, extend your impact, and provide you to serve others.

3. The E-Myth Revisited by Michael E. Gerber


This is one of my personal favorites. The way these days entrepreneurship and business have become the new trend, everyone wants to have their own business. This book is working as a guide to making you understand the harsh reality of that myth. The author guides you through the steps from starting up to making the business a mature entrepreneurial perspective.

4. The Dip: A Little Book That Teaches You When to Quit by Seth Godin


In the world of opportunities and ideas, we are becoming too fragile to take a proper decision, whether to stick or quit. I'm sure if you are reading this blog then you must have an idea in mind which you believe can change the world or make it a better place. But the fact is that there are thousands more like you who are dreaming something like you are and fort sure I can say that not everyone's idea is going to be a reality. But why? What are the factors that make an idea worth sticking and last longer than expected?In this book, the authors have answered those questions backed up with years of research they have found some key factors that make an idea to stick.

9. Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action by Simon Sinek


If I ask you what you do? you can answer that. How you do, yes you can somewhat answer that too. But why you do what you do? Very few can answer that.That is tries for organizations also. Most of the organizations can answer the what and how but why, WHY is a very unique question that gives a person or a company meaning of its existence.Leaders who inspire all think, act, and communicate in the exact same way – and it’s the complete opposite of what everyone else does.And in this book, Simon Sinek has explained all about that.

10. Zero To One By Peter Thiel


The great secret of our time is that there are still undiscovered boundaries to explore and new discoveries to be made. In Zero to One, legendary entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel shows how we can find singular ways to create those new things. Most of the businesses are made either at 0 or at 1. This means at a level when everyone has already adapted the idea or the technology behind. But going 0 to 1 is the key to innovate and challenge the limit of your knowledge.
